The Upper Room Hotel invites you to stay in the very center of historical Berlin, only 10 minutes walk from the station Zoo (Zoologischer Garten). Our hotel is committed to providing an enjoyable stay in a homely atmosphere: we are no typical accomodation establishment which occupies the whole building, with a classical reception desk and a lobby, featuring standard rooms and utilities. Upper Room Hotel is situated on the upper floors of a historical building of Berlin, where earlier Berliners' apartments used to be. The first floors of the building are occupied by prestigious offices of lawyers and real estate agents. The upper (as the hotel name suggests) floors were completely reconstructed and rearranged into comfortable rooms of various capacity.

The ideal location of the hotel will suit everybody who is looking forward to cultural, musical and culinary life of the capital of Germany. But above all the devotee of fashion boutiques and shops will enjoy their stay: the hotel is located just a stone's throw away from the world-famous boulevard Kurfürstendamm – the heart of the Berlin shopping scene. A visit to the Zoo will be unforgettable for kids and their parents likewise; it is situated in 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The old-time feeling of the city will accompany you during your stay thanks to the hotel location inside a historical Berlin building. The main entrance of the house where the Upper Room hotel is situated catches one's imagination: a grand staircase, marble coated walls, carved banister, and colourful stained-glass window were carefully preserved and restored. On a sunny day you will be stunned by the interplay of light and colour in the hallway.

The reception desk is on the fourth floor. The elevator stops between the floors: please consider the necessity of climbing some stairs. Unfortunately, the hotel has no wheelchair access. There is a winding staircase leading to the fifth floor.
